In short: Mpowa Finance’s FAQ says money is aimed for the same day by 5pm, as long as they get your documents and can complete employment confirmation that day. Before they release the loan you must authorise their DebiCheck — they say before 4pm on weekdays (and 11am on Saturdays). What “same day” depends on

  1. You submit a complete application with clear documents
  2. Mpowa can confirm your employment the same day
  3. You authorise the DebiCheck in internet banking / your banking app before their cut-off
  4. Mpowa releases the loan — FAQ target is same day by 5pm when the steps above are done

If documents arrive late, employment cannot be confirmed, or DebiCheck sits unauthorised past the cut-off, same-day payout can slip to the next working window.

DebiCheck cut-offs (before release)

  • Weekdays: authorise before 4pm
  • Saturdays: authorise before 11am

Mpowa’s DebiCheck page: they cannot release the loan amount until you authorise the request. Log into your bank, find the Mpowa Finance DebiCheck, and approve it — do not ignore the push / SMS and assume “approval” alone is enough.

Other Mpowa rules from their FAQ

  • You need at least 3 months in your current job (they say they cannot help brand-new starters)
  • Repayment is collected by a debit order you sign for; payment is due on the next pay date under their terms
  • Tell them about banking or employment changes before payday, or they warn your credit record can be affected
  • Loan increases: FAQ says only after you have repaid at least three loans
  • They say they can help anywhere in South Africa

Approval is not automatic

Mpowa’s terms: offers depend on the latest affordability and bureau information available to them. Approval is subject to assessment and is not guaranteed. Read the quotation and cost of credit before you accept.

If same-day cash did not arrive

  1. Confirm documents were accepted and DebiCheck shows authorised
  2. Check whether you applied after the DebiCheck cut-off
  3. Contact Mpowa through the official Contact Us page on mpowafin.co.za — not a random WhatsApp number
