In short: If the Absa CashSend SMS has not arrived, do not follow a random WhatsApp or SMS that asks for your PIN. Absa CashSend collection uses a 10-digit reference and a 6-digit PIN. Absa’s own page lists collection at an Absa ATM, Pick n Pay or Boxer — not Shoprite. Ask the sender to resend or confirm the details in their Absa app/online banking. Confirm on Absa’s CashSend page. Not financial advice.
