Can I withdraw ABSA CashSend at Shoprite, Checkers or Usave?
Absa does not list Shoprite, Checkers or Usave on its current CashSend product page or in its 2026 pricing guide. A retailer’s support for another money-transfer product does not prove that an Absa CashSend code will work on that retailer’s till system.
If your SMS or the sender’s Absa app shows a normal 10-digit CashSend withdrawal number and a 6-digit access code, use an Absa ATM, Pick n Pay or Boxer rather than travelling to a Shoprite Group store.
Can I withdraw ABSA CashSend at Spar?
Absa does not list Spar as a standard CashSend redemption partner. SPAR’s own national Instant Money page describes a Standard Bank service. That is a different product, so a Standard Bank Instant Money collection point should not be treated as proof that it accepts Absa CashSend.
Can I withdraw ABSA CashSend at PEP?
PEP’s official local-transfer page describes a CashSend initiated through PEP, underwritten by Absa and collected with a four-digit PIN. A normal CashSend sent from Absa banking uses a 10-digit withdrawal number and six-digit access code.
PEP’s page does not say that the relationship works in reverse for every bank-issued six-digit voucher. Do not use the fact that PEP’s own product is underwritten by Absa as proof that PEP accepts a normal Absa CashSend.
Where should I go instead?
- Absa ATM: select CashSend, enter the 10-digit number and then the 6-digit code.
- Pick n Pay: ask for Absa CashSend redemption at a till or customer-service counter.
- Boxer: ask for Absa CashSend redemption and follow the till prompts.
The CashSend remains available for 30 days. If you are close to that deadline, use an officially listed option rather than testing an unsupported retailer.
Why do older guides list more stores?
Cash-transfer brand names are similar, retailer partnerships change, and some articles incorrectly combine different bank and retailer products. The safest check is the current issuer’s product page. For Absa CashSend, the current public sources identify Absa ATMs, Pick n Pay and Boxer, with the 2026 pricing guide also referring to ChatWallet.
