- Instant Money Wallet manage: Standard Bank’s Instant Money page lists *120*212# to resend vouchers, reset PIN codes, and view voucher status (separate from full cellphone banking on *120*2345#)
How to register
Standard Bank: dial *120*2345# or *130*2345# and follow the prompts. Have your card number, PIN and ID number ready. Your cellphone number must be linked to your account.
What you can do (from Standard Bank’s FAQ)
- PayShap / immediate-style payments: sign in on *120*2345# then Payment and Transfer then PayShap
- Reverse a debit order: Manage Debit Orders then Reverse debit order
- Instant Money: Payments and Transfers then InstantMoney
- Buy airtime / prepaid: Prepaid menu (also via *130*2345#)
You cannot change your ATM limit on Cellphone Banking — Standard Bank says use the Banking App or Online Banking for that.
Cost
Standard Bank: no monthly subscription or sign-up fee for Cellphone Banking. Standard mobile network rates apply. Voucher purchases carry a service fee (Standard Bank listed R2.95 per voucher on their FAQ — confirm on Standard Bank, fees change).
If it doesn’t work
- Confirm your number is linked to the account
- Try again with airtime available (or *130*2345# to buy airtime)
- Call 0860 123 000
- Never dial a “bank USSD” from a random SMS — only use codes from Standard Bank’s own site
- Phone lost/stolen: Standard Bank Online Fraud line 0800 020 600 to block the profile
